Dear Parents, carers and staff

Castle water were carrying out works at the weekend and have left the school with no water pressure.  We are therefore not able to open the school until the situation is resolved.

We apologise for the inconvenience and will update everyone as soon as we have more information from the engineers.

Many thanks for your cooperation and understanding

A recipe for success!

admin on: Our Lady of Muswell School Blog

At our first assembly of the year, children from year 1 to year 6 created a recipe for success. We thought about what we needed to have in our school cake to ensure success and happiness throughout the year. The children's wonderful imaginations shone through and they came up with a real recipe for success!

Ben Wilson - Chewing Gum Man!

admin on: Our Lady of Muswell School Blog

Year 4's Art topic this half term is called "Which local artist lives near here?" and OLM are lucky enough to have one living just up the road- Ben Wilson Chewing Gum Man. Ben visited Year 4 this week and showed us all his work. He is pro-environment and helps make streets look colourful by painting patterns and pictures over old, flattened chewing gum on the pavements which are meaningful to the members of public in Muswell Hill. Year 4 walked around Muswell Hill looking at all his work and he even painted one for OLM situated near Planet Organic. Back at school, the children got to create their own chewing gum designs! What a fun day!

Spring Lane Care Home visit.

admin on: Our Lady of Muswell School Blog

Recently some of our Y6 children visited Spring Lane Care Home where they hosted a McMillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning and a National Poetry Day. Our children shared drinks and cakes with the residents before reading poetry to them and listening to poetry read by the residents. They were particularly impressed with a 106 year old resident who had memorised a poem!
